Our Mission

Built by Engineers.
For Engineers.

The mechanical design industry hasn't changed in decades. We're changing that — radically, deliberately, and with engineers at the center.

Our Story

Meeting The Moment.

In 2019, we watched general contractors adopt web-based management platforms. MEP trades followed — for communication. But nothing addressed the engineering process itself. Mechanical firms were still using the same methods they'd used for decades.

That observation was the moment of conception for HVAKR.

Two Cal Poly engineers teamed up with a pair of developers to build the platform they wished existed: a cloud-native tool that consolidates the entire mechanical design workflow — load calculations, equipment sizing, duct design, and reporting — into one intuitive interface.

Our Mission

What Drives Us

Our mission is to radically improve the lives of our users.

  • Revolutionize the design process
  • Modernize the trade — using familiar methods
  • Instill transparency through simplicity
  • Eliminate time wasted
  • Provide continued innovation, keeping in-step with the working world

The Team

Small Team. Serious Impact.

A tight-knit group of engineers and developers, united by a shared belief that the built environment deserves better software.
